tabs open automatically on browser

in both chrome and safari. Please tel me how to avoid it. I tried and did rest to my browsers as well

You don't give enough detail explaining the problem...

Safari>Preferences>Tabs

While surfing usinf safari or chrome over the internet on a click on a particular link, few other tabs are opening automatically saying - macbooster, mackeeper and other advertisements etc

I tried to remove this prob by reset of the browsers but couldnt. Also removed the extensions in the browsers as well

This explains it—you have malware on your system.

The easiest way to remove it is to download and run the Malwarebytes | Malwarebytes for Mac
