How can I download MacOS Sierra from Recovery H...

So I can only MacOS Lion from the recovery HD, and I really want to download Sierra straight from Recovery HD, but the only choice I have is to install MacOS Lion. So how can I do that?

You have to download Sierra from the App Store not from your Recovery HD. The Recovery HD will only download the version of OS that you're currently running.

Per the article I linked, yes it does if you have enough free space on your drive.

You can't from the Recovery HD. There is no way to do what you are asking.
