How does this shipping work?

Bought the student package with the pro apps last night. Figured it would let me just download them off the App Store but it says "Shipping. Aprox 1-3 days via Email". Does this mean they're sending me something in the mail like a disc? or does it take a while for them to verify the purchase and give me the download? I have the MacBook Pro -there is no disc slot - so if its a disc I'm in trouble
