MacBook Air LCD screen missing

Dear All,

I use my MacBook Air with a high resolution ASUS screen that is almost constantly connected.

The high res screen I use for working on Word and Excel, the LCD of the MacBook is for email and Files.

See the attached files for the configuration.

Two weeks ago I had to leave in a hurry, disconnected the screen and closed the lid and packed my bag.

Then I didn't use the MacBook for three days and when I opened it, remember it was not turned off, no screen reappeared.

When connecting the external screen I had that one but my MacBooks LCD seems to have disappeared.

I tried resetting the PRAM and SMC, Safe Boot, and even disconnect the battery and check if the wires inside were loose. Nothing helped so luckily I can work with the external screen attached.

Now I need to travel and therefore it would be great if the LCD would work again.

What to do?

Thanks for any helpful tips or directions.Macbook Air data.jpeg
