How to get rid of popup ads on MacBook Pro>

Popup ads such as the one above have been opening up when I use Safari. I have a MacBook Pro Late 2016 with Touch Bar and Touch ID with Safari 11.0 and OS X Sierra. I installed some app called MacKeeper or something like that. Ever since than I have had these ads come up. I deleted the app from Finder but these ads keep coming up.

Btw now I have High Sierra

Don't know if that will help but might have been important to mention.
