No Backups Available

I forgot my password on my IPhone 7 so I had to wipe everything clean from it and start over. When I go to the ICloud online, it says my iPhone was backed up just 2 days ago. When I try to restore it from my phone it says there are no backups to restore from and I have to start it as a new phone. I need everything on my backup though, contacts, pictures etc. I'm at a loss of what to do. All my IOS versions are up to date as well. 

After you restored your iPhone, make sure it’s updated to the current iOS version. If the backup was made with a more recent iOS, you can’t restore it onto a phone with an older version.
