Where to put master chain

Hi,

I'm mastering a song in Logic pro X, and I'm wondering if I should set up my mastering chain on the "stereo out" track, or is it better to set up an aux buss track for the mastering chain? Are there any advantages for one method over the other? Seems unnecessary to set up a buss, because I'm only dealing with one stereo file track.
