Apple Software Update; constantly prompting to update iTunes.

Even though am running the latest/version the Apple Software Update app is prompting me to install.

Not a problem with iCloud. Just iTunes.. Forever more sitting in my list to update... :/ Is there a cache/db I can clear in Apple Software Update to maybe give it a 'kick in the guts' and fix this annoying issue.
