iPhone 7 iOS 11 iCloud Photo Library + Unauthor...

Device: iPhone 7 Plus 128GB

iOS: 11.0

I upgraded to iOS 11 within a few minutes of it going live yesterday. Everything seems to be working fine, for the most part. I noticed that any photo or video I took after the upgrade was immediately uploaded to iCloud Photo Library and deleted from my phone the moment WiFi is connected. This results in photos and videos not immediately available, even ones that I just took seconds before viewing the album. I checked that all recent photos up till the upgrade are on the phone and immediately accessible without needing to download. I also have about 20-25 GB of free space on the phone which means Photos did not need to delete those photos from my phone. Any photo (taken after upgrade) I re-download and view will be unavailable again after a several minutes, making it impossible to scroll through photos that was just taken mere minutes before viewing.

I figured this was a problem with the upgrade, I recall that many Apple Geniuses mentioned to do a full backup and restore when upgrading OS, which is what I did next. After spending about an hour or so backing up and restoring my phone, I am now stuck at the "Updating iCloud Settings" screen after entering my password. The error message started with "Verification Failed," followed by "Unauthorized." Before anyone says anything, my password is 100% correct, I've verified it by logging into icloud.com on my computer.

Is anyone experiencing this problem and maybe found a solution? Or maybe the folks at Apple would be so kind to chime in on this matter?

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide me with.

Best,

Anthony
