Hacked app purchases

I'm so confused. I play an app and I have 4000.00 in charges on the app. Apple says I have two factor authentication so I must have made the purchases . I know I didn't . My bank is disputing the charges and my greatest fear is that they'll win . They've already reversed the charges with will reapply if apple contests I assume . Is it possible the app has hacked me !??! Has anyone heard of this .
