Macbook pro retina black screen boot with thund...

Hi, i have a macbook pro retina 2015 and i have an aukey usb 3.0 six port and startech thunderbolt 2 dock

If either are plugged in when i boot the mac chimes and lights up but just displays a black screen. Yet if i connect thunderbolt to ethernet adaptor (apple) or my 4k monitor then it loads fine.

Few other notes: ive reset smc and pram like 20 times, ive checked the power blocks are correct rating, ive had it so nothing is plugged into the docks and still nothing; another odd thing is if i boot the macbook with nothing in to the login screen then plug in the dock, the logon screen freezes until i unplug. Once im logged in i plug in the dock and all works correctly and fine.

Its annoying everytime i restart i have to unplug and wait to login then plug back in.

This looks like some faulty firmware on these docks.

If you have access to another mac, you may be able to confirm if the behavior is the same - which I expect it will be.

You may also try restarting in Safe Mode with the devices attached to see if it goes through or not.

If it works in Safe Mode, then you can attribute the issues to third party software that loads at startup or login.
