Japanese mac book pro keyboard layout

hello. 

Actually this is a problem i faced when i try to play cod. I imported a mac book pro with touch bar from japan. And the keyboard is different. ~ is not working on it. Though the console option in enable. Anyone know what is the key that i have to press.

What happens exactly when you type the key with the ~ on it (top row, next to last on right, Shift I think) here or in textedit or mail or notes?
