Mail app quits unexpectedly. Nothing Apple supp...

Does Apple even care about this issue? From what I've read, this issue has been around since at least 2006. I've read the questions, but have yet to see a resolution leading me to believe that Apple could care less.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to fix this issue of Mail quitting unexpectedly ?

Nothing is wrong with the overwhelming majority of Mail apps. Something is obviously wrong with yours. You may want to try reinstalling the OS first, or go for the ultimate fix, backing up, erasing the drive, installing the OS, creating your Mail account/s and when you find they work, only then begin restoring apps/data to your drive.
