How do I link two computers with the same i

I have my itunes account on my work and home computer. I copied my playlists and song files from home to my work machine, and the copied songs that were purchased show up in the "purchased" category. However, any purchased songs that have no been copied do not show up in my "purchased" list. When I find them on the store, they do not show up as "already purchased" and only offer me the option to re-purchase.

Both computers are referencing the same Apple account so I feel like this has to be a problem, right? How do I link these? Home PC uses Windows 7, work PC uses Windows 10. Both are using the same iTunes (12.6.2.20).

I use the a portable hard drive and the process in Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy to keep the work and home copies of my library in sync with each other. You could also consider a subscription to iTunes Match.
