Is there a way to charge the iPad and pencil si...

My iPad and pencil are low on battery at the same time, since there is only 1 lightning jack I can't plug both in.  Is there a workaround for this? Or do I just have to decide which is more critical?

Do you have other iDevices or a computer? You can use the chargers and Lightning cables from any iDevice, or computer USB ports, to charge the Pencil.

Also remember that a 15 second charge will give you 30 minutes of Pencil use.

I didn't know the pencil charged so quickly, that's great to know.  I'm still not clear on how I would plug the pencil in to any other device or a power outlet, since none of them have the right port.  Since it charges so quickly though, it's not as big of a deal.

You can use any lightning to USB cable that you have (like the one you use to charge your iPad) and the adapter that came with the Pencil. You plug the cable into the USB port, pop the adapter onto the lighting end, then plug the Pencil into the adapter.

The Pencil has a lightning connector, and comes with an adapter (its in the box on the same board as the extra tip) to connect to any iPhone or iPad lightning charging cable.

If you have more than one Apple charger, you can charge the Pencil with it. You can also use the Battery Widget on the iPad's notification center to view the Pencil's charge as long as the iPad is near enough to it to maintain the connection.
