Problems with Verizon and Apple Watch Series 3 ...

Is anyone else having the problem of activating Cellular on their Apple Watch Series 3 with Verizon?

It keeps failing when trying to look up plan(s).  I called the number provided and spoke with customer support who said that others seem to have the issue, and they are working on a solution.  It seems like the problem may be with Verizon customers who purchased their watch directly from Apple. Those who bought from Verizon don't seem to have the same problem.
