downloaded video itunes no video/only audio

Hi all, I have had an issue for a couple of months now.

This is now the second TV series I have downloaded which only plays audio without video (black screen while I hear the audio). There is one work around which is really annoying though: I can remove the downloaded file from the mac/itunes and re-download. If I start watching the episode while the download is running everything works fine. If I however wait until the download has finished, the screen is black again and I'll have to remove the download and re-download to watch the episodes.

This is really annoying because like this I always have to be online when watching something and can't download for offline viewing.

Would be very grateful if anybody had an idea on how to solve this!
