Watch making a high pitched electronic whirring...

I have noticed that my watch 3 is making a really high pitch electronic sound. It’s super quiet and I can only hear it when the Watch is very close to my ear. It only seems to make the noise when the screen is on. Does anyone else hear this sound from their watch?

I hear this sound with my Apple Watch Series 2, it is completely normal and it shouldn't harm your watch in any way. If it gets worse and you are concerned, I recommend going to an Apple store.
