iTunes 12.7 and multiple iTunes accounts

Hello -

I have a Macbook Pro and several iOS devices. I have two different iTunes accounts I must sync to my devices. I'm an American living in the Netherlands, and there are a few apps I really need that are only available on the Dutch app store. In order to purchase these apps, I had to create a different iTunes account for the Dutch app store. In order to update these apps, I use iTunes on my computer. I switch to my Dutch iTunes account, which automatically switches me to the Dutch app store. There, I can update my Dutch apps, switch back to my main iTunes account, and sync the updated apps to my devices using iTunes.

With iTunes 2.7 removing app management and the app store, I will no longer be able to do this. I know I can switch my iTunes account on my iOS devices. However, I have tried to avoid doing so because I've heard that if you switch iTunes accounts, there's some sort of limitation on accessing material from your other account, and you can't switch back to your other account for 90 days. I may be getting the details of this wrong, but the 90 day limitation would be a nightmare for me, so I have avoided experimentation.

Does anybody know whether I can safely switch iTunes accounts on my device without limitation in order to download updates or purchase apps from two different App stores?

Any help is very welcome!
