Can "Ask to Buy" requests be approved on a Wind...

I have setup a Family Sharing account. I want to approve and deny requests on my PC. Is this possible?

I understand that you are using Family Sharing and would like to approve or deny requests using Ask to Buy from your Windows PC. Ask to Buy requests can only be approved or denied from an iOS device using iOS 8 or a Mac running OS X Yosemite.

The organizer can review the item and make the purchase or decline the request right from their own iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 8 or Mac with OS X Yosemite.

This is not helpful, it is asinine

If I buy my kid an ipod, I shouldn't have to purchase another device to approve his purchases.

Apple is protecting it's ecosystem with exclusive features that were not explicitly stated weren't included if you didn't have another apple product.

I just had to sign into an old dusty imac I had in storage just to add a parent, who will approve his purchases.

this is another example of horrible customer service from apple.

i got my kids have apple devices, but chose an android for myself.

sorry ... can't use family share properly.

(hint, does not make me want to buy an apple devices)
