Face time from iPad Pro to iPad air

I have an iPad Pro and I gave my Dad my old iPad Air 2.  Is it possible to FaceTime call him from my iPad Pro to the iPad Air I gave him?  The Apple ID is the same on both devices since it still has all of my old settings.  If there is anything I need to do or change on either iPad to make it possible to FaceTime please let me know.  Thank you in advance.
