apple watch music app

watch os 4 has ruined the music app. i can no longer control music playlists on my iphone through the watch.

when I play music on iphone using AirPods, if i raise my wrist, i can control the music playing the phone,  but if i use any other watch app while listening the music (like start fitness app), then the watch won’t be able to control the iphone music anymore untill i stop the iphone music playing and push play again. something is messed up.

also there are some excessive background activities in the watch music app.

there is a spinning wheel under “automatically add” Heaven Rotation toggle  that won‘t stop no matter what i do (restart both watch and iphone didn’t help).
