have i now got to re download all my apps

I have just discovered all my app are no longer in my iTunes after the latest update and believe i have to re downloading them to my kids iPads and my iPhone  on the new app store as we want to use them and with the download speeds of 1.2mbs where we live.... not every one has super fast broadband.....  being able to use my macbook pro as the library for my family apps was perfect.....two steps forward three steps back well done apple
