How to download more than 100mb data via cellular

When I try to download any app, it says connect to wifi coz the app is more than 100mb.

You can't do it over cellular, you will need to connect your iPad to a wifi network to download it - there is a 100 mb limit per file over cellular

Cellular downloads are limited to apps, music, music videos, books, audiobooks, podcasts, and iTunes U files with a file size of 100 MB or smaller, depending on the wireless carrier. You can't download movies or TV shows using a cellular data network, regardless of file size

u can do this it works for me:

1.select apps that u want

2.sure it would say it is over 100MB... click ok & apps appears on your home screen waiting...

3.restart your phone as soon as it comes back,it starts downloading

I've been complaining about this for over a year out of boredom  I googled this problem and the answer is here! I still think that this is stupid to have a 100mb limit on mobile data!  I have unlimited mobile data I should be able to download whatever I want!  At least I can get around this now! I really hate using my limited wifi plan to download things I should be able to download on my unlimited mobile plan!  Thanks for the tip!

Im using iPhone 5 iOS 8.3 also. I tried what you suggested and it works PERFECTLY. Restart it after and click the app. Starts downloading immediately. Thanks!

I tried this on my iPhone 6S plus running iOS 9.2 and it does not work.

Having these arbitrary limitations is pretty lame when you have an unlimited data plan.

1. Open your Personal Hotspot, and connect at least one device.

2. Download your app or app update

3. Press the "OK" button on warning alert dialog

4. Waiting for it downloaded

Works on iPad Pro 9.7" with iOS 9.3.1

I used iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2, I did whatever was that restart method was, initially I too thought it didn't work after seeing your comment and my icon but if you click the waiting icon once, it will start to download.
