Decline previous approved app with Ask to Buy

Is there a way in IOS 10 to block an app that was previously approved through ask to buy.

This is under a family sharing account.  I have tried to hide the account, but you can still just search for it in App Store and re-download the app, does not ask for permission to redownload the app.  

I would like to block the app entirely, but not sure if that is possible at the moment.

You might try contacting iTunes Support, explaining the situation, and asking if they can disassociate the app with the account: https://apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

Go to iTunes main page bottom of page apple I'd click that view I'd Go to manage subscriptions stop the one you don't want.
