Rectangular Selection

Hi everyone,

how can I select just a part of a text, for example just the second column on a table. In windows PC I used "Alt + Selection (Drag with mouse)" but on my Macbook Air the combination "Option (Alt) + drag with mouse" does not work.

Anyone can help me?

I also have 2 more questions:

- there is a way more efficient than pressing "tab" to go through results on a browser web page? (It must exist, it is to much time consuming using tab because it follows all the links)

- How can I navigate in a more efficient way through all the functions on word (or ppt for example). I used "Alt" on my windows pc but here it does not work on the same way and it appears that keyboard shortcuts on Microsoft Word are very very limited. Is that true?

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand, but just click and hold the click from the corner, say the top left corner of the text, and drag to the other corner, say the bottom right, and that will all be highlighted. To copy it, hold down the command key and press the c key. To paste it, hold down the command key and press the v key.
