Attach PDF to song or album?

i am digitizing a vinyl album to add to iTunes that has a really nice set of liner notes in booklet form. If I create a PDF of this with my iPhone or iPad, is there a way to attach it to the album in iTunes? Thanks

Set the name of the file to Digital Booklet - <Album Title>.pdf.  Add it to the library. Change the media kind to Music if necessary. Edit the details via Get Info so that the Album, Album Artist and Artist match the album it belongs to.

That procedure is no longer possible - since iTunes 12.7, PDF import does work no more!
