Moving countries, need to back up iMac
We are about to move country and the iMac will be shipped in a container. I want to back up iTunes and iPhotos etc before we go and was wondering if iCloud is the best way to do this. My iTunes and iPhotos libraries are about 80gb each. I would welcome any thoughts of comments.
iCloud assets are kept on servers from Apple you access and Apple already keeps a copy for you that can be accessed by any computer with iCloud and using your credentials.
If you keep a copy of your iCloud assets on your local drive and perform a time machine backup you will have a copy of the data on your Time Machine volume and a copy of all the data stored by the iCloud service in the event something happens to your computer during the move.
