Imported album artwork has changed with Apple M...

First off, I'm new to Apple Music, currently on the three month trial. Since signing up, I've noticed a lot of the artwork for my own CD collection that I've imported into iTunes over the years has changed. Some of the artwork bears no relevance to the original CD the tracks came from. As an example, a 10 track album might have six tracks with the correct cover art but the other tracks will have art from a live album even though the tracks are studio recordings.

Does anybody know if it's possible to 'lock' existing album artwork to tracks in the iTunes library rather than going with the artwork Apple Music uses?

I appreciate Apple are trying to consolidate their libraries and not duplicate music tracks but given that CD imports access Gracenote database, I don't understand why the original cover art isn't retained.

Thanks in advance.

This is one of the big irritations of Apple Music that Apple have never solved or possibly even tried to solve. Along with their stubborn refusal to give a cross fade/gapless playback option.
