what the heck ?

I have some movies and the like purchased from the iTunes store. They show up on my iPhone TV app and music and the Mac iTunes app but not on my iPad. Both devices are running iOS 11.0.2.

I have tried restarting the iPad, logging out of iCloud etc. but nothing works.
