Macbook Retina Staingate on the Screen

Hi,

After using Macbook for almost two years, I just realised that there is a staingate problem appeared on the screen. I talked to my friend, who experienced the same problem and she said she got a free coverage by Apple. So I am just wondering if it applies to everyone?
