iTunes 12.7.0.166 stopped play count

I just updated iTunes to version 12.7.0.166 and it just stopped counting the plays.

 

Anytime I play a song, it doesn't save that it was played, so obviously my smart playlist doesn't update either.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
