how to reactivate the ipad

My ipad2 is inactivated because I forgot my password and I don't know how to reactivate it. What should I do?

However, I have tried this but it still asks for the password which I totally forgot. It says that iTunes couldn't connect the iPad because it is protected with a password and ask me to enter it.
