App store Deleted

My daughter deleted the app store icon on her ipad.  How to I get it back?  Restrictions are NOT on and I have already tried to reset the home screen.  No go.  I have checked every single folder (although when i reset home screen all the apps came out of the folders so it definitely isn't there).  I had a software update to do and i tried that too but not luck.  HELP!!!

The App Store cannot be deleted. Since it is the sole means of adding apps and software content to the device (including restoring those iOS default apps that you can actually delete), it is not user deletable.  What happens when you search for it?

Use Search on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Try a hard reboot. Hold down the power button and the home button for about ten seconds - you'll see the screen go dark, and then the Apple logo will appear. Let go of the buttons when you see the Apple appear. (Seriously, let go.)

The iPad will restart, and the App Store logo should reappear.

It brings up websites and under applications there is only the itunes store but not app store.  I did read somewhere that from IOS10 you can delete these apps

Didn't work unfortunately.  Thanks anyway

While it is true in iOS 10 that some apps could now be removed, the App Store is not one of them. It has to be there somewhere.

You can delete some apps - Remove built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS device or Apple Watch - Apple Support but the App Store is not one of them. Without it, you could never restore any of the apps you’ve deleted or purchased. So it is an essential core component and cannot be deleted.

The extreme fix is to restore the iPad.

Connect the iPad to a computer that is running the latest version of iTunes. Hold the power button and home button again, this time letting it go past the Apple and to the iTunes logo. (Don't let go of the buttons until you see the iTunes logo.)

The prompt on the computer screen will say there is something wrong with the iPad. First time around, choose update. Follow the prompts. If that doesn't work, repeat the process, except choose 'restore' - THIS WILL ERASE ALL SETTINGS AND CONTENT ON THE IPAD. You'll know the process is complete when it says 'hello' on the iPad screen.

Set the iPad up as new.

Thanks Michael  & that is what i thought prior to her doing something with it, it is nowhere to be found.  There are no longer any folders on her ipad so it cannot be hiding there and she only has about 3 pages of apps and it is definitely not there.  Any other suggestions?

I think your only option is to restore it through iTunes on your computer. We have to take your word that it is gone so I see no other option.
