Newest iTunes 12.7.0.166 for Mac

They don't really tell you the changes that happen every time you upgrade.  I upgraded to 12.7.0.166 on the 16th.  My problem will be in the minority and I understand that. I use iTunes professionally.  I have a radio show where I use two playlists a week; on my Macbook Pro.  Here's my problem that was verified by an Apple Care person yesterday afternoon.  Often when doing my radio show, I will get a brainstorm and want to bring in another song; from my library and place it right after the song that is currently playing on air.  Yesterday; when I tried to do it....it would skp the song I just imported and continue with the original playlist.  I have no idea why Apple did this.  We did find that if I brought in a song from my library and placed it TWO (2) songs; after what was currently playing, it would work. You have no idea how now I will have to forget about making an impromptu move; while I am live on the air.  I feel that Apple should let us know what has changed; before upgrading.  For the first time in many years I wish I could go back in time to the 15th.  Very disappointed....and by the way I am a very happy Apple owner.  I have many Apple products.  But when it hurts me professionally.  Thank you to Apple Care (which I buy every time I buy a new Apple product.) for knowing what the problem was.  Rollback please.
