How to connect a pen tablet to Macbook?

Hi, I just bought a new XP-Pen tablet.

I've installed the document and saved it to the Macintosh HD

But, when I try to open it on PenTablet Settings it says that the tablet is not found...

I don't know if it's because of the tablet or the mac, but I can't seem to access it on my macbook...

How is the tablet connected to the MBA? Which model XP pen tablet do you have? What is your MacBook's model year and model identifier?

I'm connecting using the USB to my 27" thunderbolt display.  My tablet model is XP-PEN Star 03.  OS Sierra 10.12.6 on Mac Pro 3.5Ghz, 6-Core Xeon E5.  The tablet was working, then stopped working.  I suspect that a reboot will solve the problem.  However, I'm looking for a better solution.  Thanks.  - E

The developer of the product is responsible for supporting a device they claim to be compatible. Apple does not build computers to support 3rd party devices for those manufactures.

Contact the developer of the device and see if they have a solution for their product.

Try connecting it directly to the Mac.

You state in your OP that you have a MacBook, now it's a Mac Pro. If it's a Mac Pro, I recommend posting in that forum.

If a reboot solves the issue, the obviously that's what you'll have to do, unless the tablet manufacturer comes out with different software which works better.
