Upgrading movies to 4k
For the past several years blue ray movies that you purchase in store come with a digital code. This code allows you to have a digital copy of the movie on iTunes or other video services. You can also purchase movies directly from iTunes.
My iTunes library is mostly movies I obtained through the digital codes. Will these movies be considered "purchased" for purposes of upgrading to 4k once the Apple TV releases on Friday? How about future movies? If I get a code for an HD movie next week (or next month) will that movie be available in 4k on iTunes (presuming the movie has that option), or will I be restricted to the HD version?
