Input Source Language keeps resetting itself ba...

Please help!

After almost every start up of my iMac, the input source is set back to US.

I normally have it set to Swiss and don't have a second one activated. After I restart the computer, it is set to US and the Swiss option (and the icon in the top bar) has vanished. It doesn't happen with every startup, but definitely more than 50% of the time.

The same thing happens on my MacPro that I use for work. Both run on OS Sierra 10.12.5.

I read a lot of discussions and this issue seems to have appeared many times throughout different OS versions. But never with a final solution.

- I reset the PRAM

- It might have something to do with the spotlight shortcut CMD+Space. But if I change that, it sets itself back after startup too.

Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction?
