How can I get my contacts back

In have a I phone 8 plus and I updated last night now my contacts are gone

go to your contacts,tap on groups,make sure all of them selected

if not

check your accounts on setting,make sure  contacts icon is on

to see deleted contacts on your accounts you can sign in to icloud.com or google contacts by website

Go to iCloud.com using a computer and select Settings. When that page loads, look at the bottom left side under Advanced and see if you can restore from there.

If you weren't syncing with iCloud, restore from your backup.
