itunes crashing my computer

I use tunes on Windows 7.

An apple window popped up asking me to update itunes.

I did so, but now my computer crashes every time I open itunes.

Itunes worked fine before I said yes to the update.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes about 6 times-no fix.

Apple support told me that it's a problem with windows, but I've been using windows itunes for 8 years.

I just itunes to work properly again. I regret clicking yes for the update.
