Apple Watch restore issue

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my Apple Watch Series 2: when I restore from a backup, I cant's see the history of my workouts (all other settings are restored correctly). Why? My backups on iTunes are not encrypted. There's a way to recover all my datas?

Please, help me

Thank you so much

Paolo

Hi

Historic Health and Activity data is stored on your iPhone, not on your Apple Watch.

To retain historic Health and Activity data when restoring your iPhone from a backup, you must restore it from an encrypted backup.

iCloud backups are encrypted as standard. When backing up using iTunes, backups are only encrypted if the option to "Encrypt iPhone backup" has been selected:

If you have restored your iPhone from an unencrypted backup and you do not have an encrypted backup of your iPhone that you can restore it from instead, then I'm afraid that it will not be possible to recover your historic data:

Thank you, Jonathan. By now I will encrypt my backups.
