Today I decided not to buy Apple ever again

Thanks to the Apple Store in Syracuse, NY.... the reason was as follows: I have a Macbook Pro 15 inch retina, 2012, top of the line, everything on this laptop has been replaced except the bottom plate, 2 new motherboards with the second one starting to fail again with garbled video. I made an appointment after the manager at the store saw the pics on my iPhone that showed the problem and told me that to come in and "they would take care of it". So I brought the laptop in, making an appointment, a 3 hour roundtrip and was told after they read the previous notes on the laptop that, yes they had replaced everything before, yes the video problem was known but that the last time the motherboard was replaced it was over a year ago, so my option was to have the motherboard replaced at my cost at $ 575.... no tests were performed, not even one look at the laptop that I had brought in, no discussion about what was needed, just a decision at the store after reading the notes and knowing these boards will fail, my option was to pour more money into this laptop.

For the last 30 years I have bought macs, macbooks, macbooks pro's, ipads, iMacs, iphones to the tune of at least a couple of thousand a year, not to mention the many purchases I arranged for at work or with friends. All of that ended today. What ticked me off even more was the kid wishing me a great day.
