My Apple Watch (38mm)

. The battery in my watch needs to be repaired or replaced. I purchased it from Best Buy. I subsequently took it to the Apple Store, but was told to contact Apple. Apple wants me to purchase another watch. This is the problem: to send it to them I need a reason, but my problem is not listed in their reasons. Any suggestions? Should I take it to Best Buy?
