Scheduled Reminders show wrong day

anybody know how to fix this?

on my ipad IOS 10.1.1 I have several reminders set to alert me for example on monday 12:00. today is Sunday. they show up in the reminders list OK as "tomorrow 12:00".

However today the ipad is reminding me that the tasks are already due today at 12:00 and also when I look at the scheduled reminders instead of the normal reminders list it also shows Today rather than Tomorrow.

So it can't be a date and time problem with the device.

Also the same reminders sync perfectly via the iCloud with my iPhone and Mac and there they show up perfectly.

just a pain because it is the iPad I use most.

How come there is no reply from apple on this? I am having same issue! Apple cannot tell whether today is today and when tomorrow is!!
