Music not showing on manage storage

I am using iphone 5S with IOS 10.3.3. Recently i synced it with itunes and i found a song not copying onto the phone. so i unchecked sync music and checked it once again. But the songs under "on my device" greyed out and i also found that the songs in my too greyed out. When i went to the manage storage, i didn't find music in it. Any suggestions?
