Home sharing

Hello,

I have 2 iMac 21 both of them running Sierra last version.

In both computer Sharing is activated.

When I want to transfer files from a computer to the second one, I often use the command existing on the left side winf=dow when the Main HD is opened as shown here.

I have two questions:

a. on one computer the sharing control panel has a Lock, and one the second computer there is no Lock.

Why and what to do?

b. I am able to transfer files from the first computer to the second  without any problem. But, when I'm trying the way back, I am unable to open the way since it asks me a code and when entering it it refuses to accept it.

What to do?

Why not simply use iCloud it's much much easier than using Sharing.

Also, Home Share is a term used in iTunes. I'd recommend changing how you refer to Sharing so you don't cause more confusion.
