New Computer

In fact, the two individual ipods I have will have number of plays stated on the side of the Itunes software but will not total or transfer onto the computer's Itunes Library's totals so it appears everything is recently added and top 25 are only tracks played once on the computer.  Is this some type of new change or is there a way I can have cumulative number of plays from all my devices recorded on my Itunes software on my desktop?  (Itunes software I believe is 12.6.2)
