How to bypass iCloud account for iphone 5
i bought an iphone5 from a friend of mine working on the airplane and when i got home I charge the phone and find out that the iphone is being lock on an icloud account. I try to find who is the first owner of the phone but fail to do so. So i want to find out how to unlock this phone for me or if you can get the owner of this phone so i can chat with him/her about this phone.
Sorry, but unless you can contact the previous owner, you will not be able to use the device:

Hello Maine,
But how can i find the previous owner? Is there any way that i can get his/her email from iCloud so i can contact the owner to unlock this phone for me please.......
TT
There is really no way to do that. I would suggest that you ask the friend that you purchased it from where he got it and see if you can trace it back that way. If it was a phone that he "found" on an airplane, then it should be turned into the authorities, or the airport lost and found.

thanks alot for your support Maine....so this tells me that if you find any iphone on the street or enywhere and its lock by iCloud then its better for you to throw it in the rubbish because it wont work anymore if you dont find the previous owner....but thanks alot for you support Maine.

No, it's better to do the right thing and turn it into the authorities. It is not your device, so it shouldn't work for you. You didn't purchase it. Someone is probably desperately looking for it. You have no right to the device. Get it?

So this tells us that Samsung is better way better than iPhone....
Not for long, buddy. The Kill switch is coming soon to a Samsung near you.

i love how everyone assumes that someone asking about an icloud bypass has a stolen phone! you know what they say about assuming right?
i know i have been looking for a bypass and thats because i sold an old iphone4 to this chick locally and see contacted me back the same day saying it wasnt connecting to her carrier and wanted to return it and me being the honest person i am didnt have an issue with this gave her $ back and went on my way. i took it to my local carrier where "I" bought the device new and asked them if they could check it and see it maybe it was a bad sim etc. but lucky me she has it locked to her icloud and do you think she will answer me now or be a good person and just delete the device from her icloud **** no. whats somebody like me to do when this happens. from what i found nothing I"AM screwed and all because other people are dishonest! LOVE it!
No. What this tells us is that you are a criminal, as is your "friend" who sold you the stolen phone.
Turn it over to the authorities. You are guilty of receiving stolen property.
i think you are the one @ fault here and more i can provide more than enough proof i paid for my devices... but its good to see the assuming lives to what they say about it lol

No one is presuming that a phone is stolen, although when it is purchased via a 3rd party, there is no way to know one way or the other, and when that 3rd party refuses to help the person they sold it to clear up the issue, it seems to point to something less than on the up and up....
Your issue, on the other hand, is simply that you got screwed by an unscrupulous person. When did this sale go down? I'm hoping your answer is "some time before June 12th", because if it is after that date, then you have only yourself to blame. The Activation Lock link provided on that date has very specific instructions on how to protect yourself from getting a device that has been Activation Locked:
How do I check for Activation Lock before purchasing a used device?
When purchasing an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from someone other than Apple or an authorized Apple reseller, it is up to you to ensure that the device has been erased and is no longer linked to the previous owner’s account.
You can check the current Activation Lock status of a device by visiting icloud.com/activationlock from any Mac or PC.
Or you can follow the steps below to make sure that you can use the device you purchase:
- Turn the device on and slide to unlock.
- If the passcode lock screen or the Home screen appears, the device hasn't been erased. Ask the seller to completely erase the device by going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Don't take ownership of any used iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch until it's been erased.
- Begin the device setup process.
- After choosing a language, choosing a country, and connecting to a network, the device will begin activation. If you're asked for the previous owner’s Apple ID and password, the device is still linked to their account. Hand the device back to the seller and ask them to enter their password. If the previous owner isn't present, they can remove the device from their account by signing in to icloud.com/find. Don't take ownership of any used iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch until it has been removed from the previous owner’s account.
You will know that a device is ready for you to use when you're asked to “Set up your iPhone," “Set up your iPad," or “Set up your iPod” during the device setup process.
Sorry you got screwed by the person you sold the device to. But, again, in many of the cases where a 3rd party seller is involved, there is likely a stolen phone involved as well. Not saying that the person selling the device knows it is stolen. It's kind of like money-laundering. It just gets passed through the various mechanisms, and by the time you get the device, the person who sold it to you can't help you because the person who sold it to them can't help them, etc., etc., etc.

If whoever sold it to you can't remove the lock, then the odds are extremely high it wasn't theirs to sell.
Turn it over to the police. If they determine it isn't actually stolen, then they will give you back your fancy paper-weight after some period of time. If they find the owner, they'll return it to them and you'll be in the clear. If you don't, and they later find that you have it and it is stolen, you'll be arrested.
By the way, posting your phone number on a public forum is simply brilliant...
Oh, and proof that you "paid for it" does NOT equate to proof that it is not stolen. You may want to educate yourself a bit.
Oh dear god PPL That number isnt mine its the girl that bought and returned the iphone to me so yeah it kinda is brilliant....
i have and only will buy my apple products from A the apple store that i have and will continue to wait in long lines on release days or B @ my at&t store got it! i never said I bought this iphone off a 3rd party thats just stupid.
i have been a loyal apple customer since the days the ibook that i built on apples website. i didnt come on here to get called something iam not and SHAME on you for thinking automatically that my device is stolen! grow up! i came here to say that simply that for the people like myself that have a idevice that is icloud locked and can provide an apple or cellular carrier recipe along with anything esle that is needed box etc ID , apple ID they can see all that they are the original buyer and mistakes happen should be able to have there idevice unlocked by apple! its cut and dry people if you dont like it sorry. have a great day people.
SERIOUSLY? Did you even bother to read my post:

I am fully aware that YOU sold the phone to HER, then SHE returned it to you with her iCloud Activation Lock turned on. I was simply inquiring as to whether this event took place before or after June 12th. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are, if you are purchasing/refunding and retrieving, getting a phone free, the point is: If you are receiving an iPhone that has not been in your control (even for half a day), it's a good idea to make sure the Activation Lock is not on.....
Something to keep in mind in future if you sell an i-Device to a person who then wants to return it to you for their money back because they are having some issue with it. To protect yourself, do not give anybody any money until you have determined the device is fully functional (this includes NO Activation Lock).
