No ringer on my phone even when my apple watch ...

My phone never ring even when I'm not wearing my watch. The ring just come to my watch which is sometimes in the other room. And even when the watch is turned off, my phone doesn't ring at all, when there's a phonecall or a message. Please help. 

Check the mute switch on the side of the phone. Check the settings on your phone and in the Watch app on the phone. Both the phone and watch should sound when you receive a call if your settings are set normally. Make sure the volume is turned up, a sound is selected, and Do Not Disturb is not turned on.
