AppleCare+ not available in Canada

Is applecare+ not available to Canadian residents when purchasing a new Mac?

Apple recently announced that it will now offer AppleCare+ for their computers.

If you log onto the US website, it lists applecare+ as the available plan when purchasing a new Mac.  The Canadian website doesn't list AppleCare+ for new computers, but instead lists regular AppleCare instead.

Any thoughts, is this a mistake on the website, or is apple only offering this to US customers?

It's not.  It seems Canadian customers don't get the same care.
